Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley while the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix displayed a knack for athletics from the beginning, as she discovered her ability to sprint when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. In just 10 weeks following her initial tryout, she placed with a second-place finish in the 200 meter event in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix got a contract to pursue professional work with Adidas in 2003, and was then accepted into University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. In 2004, Felix won the first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece and set an unofficial junior world record taking 200 metres with a time of 22.18 seconds. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in the 200-meter race. She won the title for the second time in 2007 beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in London, Beijing Rio de Jaeiro, and Tokyo. She often finished among the top three in every event.
